Iboga Plant Medicine & Clarity Breathwork gave me the healing I never imagined possible. The plant medicine that took me out of the dark straight to the light with a stronger spiritual connection and a new purposeful life.

I spent decades trying and experiencing many healing modalities and different plant medicines. I got relief and I made progress with many trauma wounds but there were a few trauma wounds rooted deeply inside me that I was not able to access with any of those practices and medicines. A lot of those deep wounds were caused by experiences with my mother and childhood abuse. Then my mother died and that was the call to find deeper healing for those wounds that continued affecting and destroying my life.

My mother’s death was extremely hard to take, and I felt my life was at the end of a bridge, and the alternatives to find hope for the healing I was looking for many years felt impossible. One day I woke up in the middle of the night, and Divine guided me to find Iboga online when I was looking for more healing with Ayahuasca. I did a lot of Ayahuasca in the past, so I was not sure if Ayahuasca was calling me again. For me plant medicine is a calling by the spirit of the plant, not a personal desire. Iboga calling felt stronger. I called two Iboga centers and I decided to go to Awaken your Soul in Costa Rica.

That experience was profound, but it left me feeling halfway and with an unfinished journey. Integration was rough and the medicine made me felt the heavy weight of my life and that deeper healing was needed. I could not believe that grandfather Iboga was calling me again in 3 months. The feeling of being left halfway after 2 ceremonies, and that some of my symptoms intensified with the medicine made me approach other Iboga practitioners to understand what happened. That is how I found Michael from Bwiti Life Cancún. He was lovely over the phone, and I connected with him immediately. He took the time to advise me and supported me to make the decision about a second Iboga retreat with him and his many years of experiences with Iboga. He helped me to make some life decisions as well, so I could support my life transition to arrive to his Iboga center. After my first Iboga retreat, I decided to leave behind the heavy weight of my life in the US. I decided to relocate to Mexico. That made easier my decision to go to Cancun with Michael. Even though Awaken your Soul offered me the support, it was not possible for me to travel back to Costa Rica.

Michael, Nick and his family opened the doors of his center to transform my life and to give me exactly what I needed to close a long journey of healing, heal my painful relationship with my mother, find the root cause of huge suffering, heal depression, and to finally integrate years of healing and studies to start a new life and purpose.

Iboga answered many questions about my life traumas and experiences. Michael and Nick’s dedication and experience helped me to navigate the medicine to get all I was needing to achieve a deep and powerful healing journey. I am not going to say that Iboga journeys were easy, but Michael and Nick knew exactly what to do with the medicine and me, managed all the questions I had for the medicine beautifully and joyfully. Michael had the doctors there all night and part of the morning only he knew that everyone was safe. Bwiti Life family, Michael and Nick gave me all the necessary care to recover from the medicine and to integrate each ceremony. Michael was precise with the amount of medicine he gave me to be safe and to get me where I needed to be without causing more pain, trauma, confusion, and struggles.

After my journey, integration was rough, and Michael and Nick were there to support me. I also had my breathwork teacher Ashanna Solaris ready to help me integrate the medicine with Clarity Breathwork and a plant medicine therapist Vicente Alonso. I had a strong team ready to help me integrate, support each emotional crisis and to help me understand Iboga spirit teachings and healing. I developed a strong connection with the medicine, and I feel a strong inner guidance of grandfather Iboga within me, guiding me, protecting me, and channeling through me for my new purpose and life journey.

I finally overcame some small alcohol addictions by cleansing ancestral alcohol addictions in my DNA and family history. I healed depression, C-PTSD symptoms, emotional negativity, fears, suicidal thoughts and many more things that it is hard to describe. I will say that I have been blessed by Iboga beyond words. I have been blessed by Michael, Nick and their Bwiti Life family in a way I will be always grateful. Iboga is now my strongest inner teacher and has taught me how to create a stronger spiritual connection with Divine/God.

Many miracles started happening in my life after my second retreat with Iboga and Michael. Iboga helped me to find the union between years of hard work to heal and to prepare me for a new life and purpose, connected me with a beautiful part of me I did not know before, opened my heart to give and to receive love, and showed me how to start a beautiful Divine purpose with my Breathwork practice supported by Shamanic African teachings, all my yoga, meditation, life coaching, and music studies. I feel now a clean inner spirit with a strong Divine and shamanic connection.

It is also amazing that when I am choosing a wrong life direction, I can feel the energy of Iboga taking me out of what it is not good for me. So grateful for having the opportunity to save my life, recover my health, leave addictions behind, and to finally find a new beginning thanks to this powerful plant medicine. It takes courage to make this decision knowing that there are risks with any plant medicine, but there is no risk when the right person and retreat center is chosen which does it in a safe and responsible way.

I also have a healthy heart and liver, and this is a requirement to qualify for Iboga. There is a bigger risk if you lose your life for not having the courage to trust the power of Iboga. This will change your life and the lives of many around you. I know I have more healing to do, and I will continue my healing work with all my practices, breathwork and Iboga.

I am sure I will see Michael again when my next calling to Iboga medicine comes my way. I will trust him to continue blessing my life as I receive deeper healing and teachings from Iboga and him.
